Kitchen Manager: Eddie Bardouille, "Mr. Eddie," joined Opportunity in 2010 after working for Norwegian Cruise Lines as the assistant food and beverage director. Eddie takes pride in creating nutritious and delicious meals for our students.
Eddie is married with two daughters.
Office Manager: Kesoon Orahood joined the Opportunity family in May 2007 with an eagerness to help the less fortunate and a love of working with children. Kesoon serves a dual role as a receptionist and floating teacher. She is certified in First Aid, CPR, and holds a CDA (Child Development Associate). Kesoon continues her love of learning by attending courses at Palm Beach State College.
Prior to Opportunity, Kesoon began role as an educator at La Petite Academy, spending six years in the classroom. She is dedicatied to making her workplace feel like a family for her coworkers and the parents and children they serve. Kesoon says her job allows her to combine her love for young children with her passion to make a difference in the community.
Kesoon, her husband, and her twins have made a home in West Palm Beach. Kesoon is ready to see what new journeys are ahead and anticipates Opportunity's expansion.
Executive Assistant/Curriculum Specialist: Cyndy Sanders joined Opportunity in 2009 as a VPK teacher with a desire to learn and grow with the children. She moved to Palm Beach County after graduating Florida State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family & Child Sciences. Additionally, Cyndy holds a master’s degree in Education with a concentration on Curriculum and Instruction. Her credentials and certifications include a Florida Director’s credential, NSRF (National School Reform Faculty) Communities of Practice Coach certification, and C.L.A.S.S (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) Observer certification.
Cyndy continues to mentor teachers and assist them with integrating technology into their classrooms. She also has taken the lead on assisting teachers with implementing the Teaching Strategies GOLD electronic curriculum and assessment program. Before joining the Opportunity family, Cyndy interned at the Children’s Home Society in their adoption program.
She is looking forward to welcoming her first child and taking on the adventure of parenting.
