The recent cooler weather made for a cozy gathering of friends Wednesday, January 13 at the home of Robert and Linnette Miller. The Miller’s hosted a party for friends of Opportunity Early Childhood Education & Family Center and sponsors of the organization’s February 26 gala at The Breakers.

The Miller’s waterfront estate was the perfect setting to celebrate one of Palm Beach’s oldest charities. Guests enjoyed prime rib and herbed lamb chops catered by NYY Steak in Coconut Creek. No one could resist having their photograph taken with the restaurant’s signature lampshade girls.

“Opportunity changes lives,” said Linnette Miller. “So we are thrilled to open our home to people who want to learn more about Opportunity and support the phenomenal work it does with children and families in our community,” Miller continued.

Opportunity has been providing developmental programs for the children of working families since 1939. The center is currently at capacity and has a waiting list of more than 200 children. Opportunity just launched a capital campaign entitled “Opportunity Knocks” to finance a new campus that will serve more children and families.
